Bora Bora, Society Islands,French Polynesia

We have been enjoying the sights of Bora Bora over the past few days. Benny rented a car and we did the island tour on Monday. There are spectacular beaches on the south part of the island but the diving was not so great as a great deal of the coral has been killed of bt the crown of thorns starfish. The water was incredibly clear though. We had dinner at the famous "Bloody Mary's Restaurant" It was a bit touristy but enjoyable nonetheless. Yesteday was maintenence day and I changed the oil in both the engine and genset and did a few other chores as well. We are off to the Rarotonga in the Cook Islands tomorrow. It's hard to believe I have been in French Polynesia for three months already the time has gone by so fast. I'm ready for a change and I'm looking forward to speaking English again after eight months of Spanish and French.
