Pacific Cruise March 2010

I would like to leave Costa Rica From Golfito around mid March, 2010 to cross the Pacific Ocean.
Ist. leg Costa Rica to Isla Del Cocos 287nm.
Galapagos 440 nm.
Marquesas 30000nm.
Will need a commitment for 6 weeks.
2nd. leg Tuamotos and Society Islands
(Tahiti, Moorea, BoraBora) 800 nm.
Will spend about 2 months .
3rd. leg Cook Islands 600 nm.
4th. leg American Samoa 850 nm.
5th. leg Tonga 330 nm.
6th. leg Fiji 550 nm.
7th leg Auckland, New Zealand 1100 nm.

I plan on leaving Fiji before the end of October in order to reach New Zealand before the cyclone season begins. I will, most likely, be in New Zealand for four to six months.
I will need crew for the open ocean legs. The first leg will require a total of 6 continuous weeks on the boat but promises some great sailing and landfalls.
Please let me know if you are interested.

Mexico to Costa Rica

I've done a little more work on route planning for the trip South. We are going to leave San Diego on October 26 on the Baja HaHa and should reach Cabo San Lucas by November 7th. On to Mazatlan and a slow meander down the coast to Puerto Vallarta. We will stay until after Thanksgiving and then go to Manzanillo and probably do a road trip to Guadalajara from there. Next stop is Ixtapa and Z'town and then Acapulco.

We'll take a look at Puerto Escondido and Puerto Angel on the way to Huatulco and a road trip to Oaxaca. This will take us until the end of December.

I'm looking for crew for the 650 NM run to Costa Rica in early January. Where we will spend the next two months.
The google map outlines some of the stops in Costa Rica.

Then on to Isla del Cocos, Galapagos and the Marquesas in mid March. Tuamotos and Tahiti in April/May

If you would like to join us for any part of the cruise please let me know.
