London, UK

Much has happened since our arrival in London, ten days ago. The weather was
barely fifty degrees and quite a change from what we have become accustomed to.
One of our first events was the Chelsea Flower Show which was very crowded but
excellent. I have never seen such orchids and huge blooms as were exhibited
there.
After that, were the preparations for our niece's wedding at the St. Pancras
Hotel and the event itself. The ceremony and subsequent party were excellent and
we were fortunate to have gathered four out of five of the kids to celebrate the
joyous occasion.
On the following day, we went out to Chesham to visit with Steve and Helen, old
cruising friends of ours from our time in the South Pacific. We had an enjoyable
evening over a curry talking about our experiences.
We spent a day or two with the Admiral's mum and dad who both remain
exceptionally spry.
I went to the Natural History Museum with Jessica, Sydney, James and Katie on
Friday and visited with friends and family over the weekend. The days are
passing quickly.
Over the past two days the weather has improved and although the temperature is
still cool we have had quite a bit of sunshine. We took a very nice walk over
Hampstead Heath today followed by a pub lunch. England is transformed when the
sun comes out!
